CBSE Board Results 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12th and Class 10th examination results on the official website cbseresults.nic.in next week. An official announcement in this regard will be made possibly this week itself to alert the students. Last year, CBSE Class 12 result was declared in the last week of May while the Class 10 result was announced in first week of June. As many as 28 lakh students registered to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations this year. Over 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. For Class 12, 11,86,306 candidates registered and the exams were held at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres outside the country.

This year, Microsoft through their app SMS organiser will also inform students about their results. The candidates will have to register with their roll number, school code and the date of birth to be able to access their marks.

Step 1: Log on to the website Google.com
Step 2: Search CBSE Class 10, 12 results
Step 3: On the search results page of CBSE Class 10/Class 12, enter your roll number and date of birth
Step 4: Submit the details and check your results displayed on the screen

CBSE Board Results 2018: No delay in results due to paper leak

The re-test of the Class 12 Economics exam, held on April 25, nearly a month after it was leaked, will not delay declaration of results. A senior CBSE official said that they had rigorously followed up with schools to send more evaluators than the required number. 
The CBSE Class 10 results will be declared after the Class 12 results next week itself. CBSE Class 10 students will be given two marks for the typing error in English question paper of the exam which was held on March 12.


CBSE Board Results 2018: Last year Statistics

CBSE declared the Class  10 results on June 3 last year. The results were delayed because of assembly elections in five states and court cases filed after the board's decision on marks moderation.
The pass percentage last year in CBSE Class 10 exam fell to 90.95 per cent from 96.21 per cent previous year, registering dip of over 5 per cent.
CBSE Class 12 results 2017 were declared on Sunday, May 28.

The jurisdiction of the Board is extensive and stretches beyond the national geographical boundaries. As a result of the reconstitution, the erstwhile 'Delhi Board of Secondary Education' was merged with the Central Board and thus all the educational institutions recognized by the Delhi Board also became a part of the Central Board. Subsequently, all the schools located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh. 
Andaman and Nicobar Island, Arunachal Pradesh, the state of Sikkim , and now Jharkhand, Uttaranchal and Chhattisgarh have also got affiliation with the Board.
